The Culinary Herb Garden

In the late 1990s former long-time gardener Laura Matter spearheaded the creation of this garden. This garden’s wonderful centerpiece was created by the late Stuart Prado out of repurposed materials. It is planted with perennial and annual culinary herbs. This garden is located adjacent to the big red barn.

The Northwest Planting

This garden is a remnant from the King County Master Gardener’s Garden that once existed here. It is a fine example of a native plant and tree planting. This planting is located along the 82nd Street pathway. It looks like a thicket with trees and shrubs thickly planted.
